Simply Soupreme is a 100% plant-based, small-batch soup company founded by culinary entrepreneur Jason Murphy. Based in Red Hook, New York, Simply Soupreme crafts wholesome soups that are soy-free, gluten-free, and free of additives or preservatives. Every batch is made with care at Capital Roots, a non profit cooperative commissary kitchen in Troy, New York. We partner with local farmers and growers throughout the region to highlight the best of the Hudson Valley’s seasonal harvests in our recipes.

ABOUT CHEF JASON
Jason’s journey to Simply Soupreme grew out of two decades in food, community work, and wholesale soup production. As a former owner of Detroit’s storied heritage restaurant Russell Street Deli, he helped build a renowned wholesale vegan soup program that supplied more than 200 regional grocery stores. He later served as Culinary and Product Manager at Project EATS, a non profit urban farm in New York City, and as Director of Foodways at Shorefast on Fogo Island, Canada, deepening his commitment to food justice, sustainability, and community-centered food systems.
